“A man who masters patience is the master of everything else. To make it to the top of your game, it takes patience.” - uknowbigsean
In Seans latest installment in his personal video series, he talks about patience. “Patience is key for happiness. It allows you to be happier, and to always see the bigger picture in everything."
Every video in this series has left me inspired, but this one really struck a cord with me. Patience. I was so bummed out with myself after watching this video. I am admittedly very impatient, and I never really stepped back and looked at how it was shaping my life. Sean inspired me to change how I was living. After watching this video, I decided to make a conscious decision to practice patience. While it’s only been a few weeks, I am already seeing a change in my life. I am so much happier, more creative, and feel more in control of myself.
Patience is so important, both long term and short term. "When you approach situations with patience, you’re bringing your best self to that situation; giving yourself the best chance at success.”

“You know you are in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams” - Dr. Suess

Be the change you hope to see in the world.

My submission for Shopify’s Design Is contest.
I decided to make my submission for people who are struggling to find their own voice in design. I think it’s something we all struggle with at some point and I hope this can inspire someone.
When you’re first starting out, it might be hard; trying to find your own style, make awesome work, and be recognized. You have great taste, and have great ideas, but you struggle to actually make something you’re proud of. Don’t worry! We all go through this. It’s a journey; and it’s important to keep going & keep exploring. Don’t try to follow someone else’s path, because that will lead you no where. Instead, make your own path. Take risks and experiment. Reference hundreds of people, not one. When you start looking at multiple sources of inspiration and not just at a few, you’ll see yourself grow. At this point you’ll likely start to find your own style as well. It takes time though. Keep working hard, be nice, and stay humble. People will notice you.
